Been a senator once. Now i feel that politics sucks! People involved in it feel that they are doing the coolest thing in the world, where as they waste time and get nothing out of it accompanied by bad grades. During the meeting in senate, hardly any genuine issues are raised. Half of the time is spent on discussing the internet issues for non wifi bhawans for which the authorities are already doing what ever they can. I feel that SAC is made by the authorities so that the students don't complain to them individually and they have to hear the complaints only twice an year. (yes only 2 meetings per year) And god forbid, but something goes wrong, they can blame it on SAC. I have genuine respect for people who get elected. But those who waste time unnecessarily just to have some name, kuch dhang ka kar lo yaar kam se kam job to lagegi!
